How About These Colors?

I dabble in painting, and I admit I am untrained, but I love, love, love to paint. I love messing around with colors, painting backgrounds, trying to make something out of it. I look for inspiration where ever I go. Lately, I've been drawn to graffiti. Not so much the gang names, but the scenes, with great detail. I'm going to leave you with a few shots I came across. Maybe they will inspire you to do some painting. These are all photos of graffiti that I found walking the streets of Asheville, North Carolina.

oh my gosh. These remind me of my collection of mural photos. I need to dig them out to share.
I love art of all forms. Graffiti included. I know I coould never get so much control with a can of spray paint.

loving all the colors. I can't imagine a world without splendiferous hues and tints.

loving the jewelry you show on your blog. stacked pieces are simple in form but so intricate incolor and textures.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm still basking in the world of flying from Kelly Rae's course. It has introduced me to new blogs to enjoy. And ,yes, try new things for my business.

The top one is my favorite. It looks like a scene from Hawaii.

cool! I do enjoy things like this. My favourite is probably Banksy (banksy.com)and recently I came across a list of 10 guerilla artist blogs on the creative perch blog in the 2009 archives - very interesting indeed!

Happy painting :)

Wonderful paintings! You have proven that you don't need to be "trained" to paint. I need to try painting some more - I find it very hard. Thanks for sharing.
